what a typical day looks like:
develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.
compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
lead and guide a group of qa leaders/inspectors in inspecting and controlling the processes and products quality during the npi and mass-production in accordance with the specified standards
ensure the line leaders and inspectors perform quality control activities according to the quality plan, and guide them in the interpretation of process and product quality specifications
coordinate and enforce eco/pcn approval process
review and compile the trend/improvement analysis and report the status to cft and customers.
ensure product meets safety regulatory requirements
supervise and initiate reaction plan for out of control situations and implement continuous improvement activities.

college’s or above degree,
at least 3 years’ experience as quality engineer dealing with customer and process in ems or oem industry.
ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical information

good track records in quality management

?develop integration verification & validation, manage firmware issues and drive root cause analysis until bug is fixed
?provide design and test support during prototype build and mass production
?develop embedded firmware in c and/or assembly on common mcu or x86 platform, working with ami bios

the experience we’re looking to ａｄｄ to our team:
?bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, computer science, telecommunication

?knowledge of embedded system programming with arm, x86 achitecture
?knowledge of i2c, usb, spi, can, pcie, adc/dac, uart interface

responsible for customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned acｃｏｕｎｔs

primary materials interface for customer in new project start-up, as well as internal supply chain coordinator between sourcing, buyer, planner & pm

drive sourcing strategies in materials quotations. present materials value-ads to customers, and influence customers to use flextronics preferred suppliers

develop and lead implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans

track material financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required

manage material cost review (local, regional and global). lead supply base management effort to support customers’ needs such as cost reduction & supply chain solutions

responsible for excess & obsolete materials disposition interface with customers

exercise supervisory responsibilities, involving in basic management duties

develop proactive supply chain improvement plan-lead time reduction, moq reduction, localization & ａｌｔｅｒnative sourcing, replenishment program peｎｅｔration 

here is some of what you’ll need (required):

college degree or above, majoring in management or economics is preferred, supplier management, material procurement or planning background

5+ years working experience in material function

be familiar with baan/erp system

good communication and presentation in both english and chinese.

be good at using microsoft office tools (especially excel and powerpoint)
