Key Responsibilities:
Manage the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with external EHS regulations and standards and internal EHS policies and management systems. Activities include:
? Monitor environmental performance,
? Identify risks or areas for improvement;
? Organize EHS monthly meeting;
? Conduct safety audits,
? On-site inspections to identify workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work
practices or conditions;
? Investigate environmental or safety incidents;
? Prepare reports and recommendations;
? Implement waste management programs;
? Develop and deliver EHS training programs;
? Manage relationships with community or environmental stakeholders.
? Monitor and evaluate the plant overall EHS performance to identify recurring
problems; research, evaluate, and recommend changes to technology,
equipment, systems, or processes that will improve the plant EHS performance.
? Provide technical expertise and advice on EHS issues to other departments,
especially UP;
? Lead, direct, and evaluate a team of EHS professionals to ensure the EHS strategy
is implemented effectively within established budgets and the organization
complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
? Coach, motivate and develop team member.
Minimum Requirements
? Bachelor degree, major in Safety Engineer/Environment/Mechanical and Electrical ;
? At least 5 year related working experience;
? Fluently in both written and spoken English;
? Logical thinking;
? Willing to change
