Responsibilities:
1. Build up and develop a comprehensive set of competitive tools of engagement
2. Take responsibility to ensure up-to-date contents and establish workflows that enable your stakeholders to exchange market and competition information
3. Provide insights on competitors strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
4. Analyze features, capabilities, and platforms at the technical/feature level
5. Make presentations and create reports to internal stakeholders and external audiences
6. Support the identification of new business opportunities in existing, adjacent, or new markets and businesses
7. Enable your global team to support KION’s Operating Units sales and product management (in specific the local organization) showing strong intercultural leadership and willingness to travel
8. Attend industry conferences and provide reports on market trends and competitor developments
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. master degree with a technical focus preferred. additional economic degree desirable (MBA)
2. Fluent in both Chinese and English language (additional languages such as German desirable)
3. Leadership capabilities to steer cross-functional multi-disciplinary project teams of a global matrix organization
4. Passion for working with technical individuals and a proven ability to distill complex concepts into easy to understand creative assets
5. The ability to design and implement best practices and optimal processes across a collaborative group of creatives, marketers, and other internal customers
6. A consultative approach and an attitude for translating marketing objectives into clear creative strategies and processes
7. Passion for prioritizing work and managing multiple of concurrent projects based on value to the business, effort to achieve, and data available to measure success
8. Creative, analytical, and organizational strengths to drive organizational improvements
9. High ability to think and act entrepreneurially considering risk and opportunity analysis to compile decision proposals
10. Experience in working with management functions desirable
11. Experiences within global project business and execution desired
12. Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, such as communication and analytical skills and the ability to lead a global high performing team
13. Intercultural competences as well as the ability to act convincingly in virtual environments
14. Willingness to go the extra mile to anticipate, understand and respond to internal customer’s needs
