The Business Unit Care Chemicals consists of the business segments Personal & Home Care, Crop Solutions, Industrial Applications, Base Chemicals, Oil Services and Mining Solutions. The business unit has a clear focus on highly attractive, high-margin, and low-cyclicality segments with a large share of the business being consumer-facing in Consumer Care and Industrial Applications.

Job Content:
- Drive collaboration with commercial team to incorporate market intelligence into forecasts
- Develop forecast plans at product, customer and market levels and develop robust demand plans/scenarios.
- Participate in the demand review step of the IBP process and regional S&OE
- Ensure consolidation of ｃｏｕｎｔry demand forecasts into regional demand plan scenarios
- Reduce forecast bias by challenging stakeholders and business assumptions using analytical and business insights.
- Deal with uncertainty by using probabilistic forecasting and scenario planning,
- Work closely with Supply Planning ｃｏｕｎｔerparts to drive the most optimal responses to meet customer demand.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Ensure that the demand plan is reflected both in volumetric and financial terms.

Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics and Distribution, or related field
- 2 years of relevant forecasting or demand planning experience in a regional setup. Experienced in using SAP or ERP-based systems and APO
- Experience in S&OP / IBP Processes. Proven ability to analyze and improve financial performance, strong understanding of macroeconomics and how market trends impact customer demand.
- Excellent ｎｅｔworking and collaboration within the organization, with external partners, and with own team.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to influence key stakeholders and translate complex supply chain situations into terms clearly understood by various client groups
